Our Team has an amazing opportunity to build on both the relationships we have with each other, and with the children and families at Edison Gardens. It was awesome to see so many familiar faces on Sunday, March 16! The kids made a “He Lives” beaded keychain craft while lunch was cooking; and others played games and visited with us and each other. After lunch, we passed out a coloring page with an Easter message and Bible verse; and taught the children how much Jesus loved us by dying on the cross for us.
We had more than 45 total attendees, which included 28 guests, 15 volunteers (including 4 volunteer children), and two Edison Gardens parents! Once again, every seat and table in the Community Center was full!!
We also celebrated eight birthdays for the months of January, February, and March by passing out Build-A-Bear and Toys R Us gift cards!
