The Edison Gardens kids enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner, with all the trimmings, this past Sunday, November 18! They also participated in a special Bible lesson, writing down what they were thankful for, on small strips of construction paper. These strips were then placed in a Box of Thanks that they made as a Thanksgiving craft.

We had 54 total attendees, which included 28 guests, 23 volunteers (including 6 volunteer children), and three Edison Gardens parents! Every seat, and table, in the Community Center was full!! We were also blessed with an abundance of food, which we were able to send home with the children, for family members that did not attend the Event. Dean and I would like to express our thanks to everyone who spent their Sunday afternoon with us at the Edison Gardens Community Center.

We concluded the Thanksgiving Event by having the children fill out a Wish List for Christmas.
