The Edison Gardens kids and team celebrated Easter and Earth Day on Sunday, April 22! We had 15 children, and 17 Son City Kids volunteers, in attendance!! Everyone enjoyed a traditional Easter luncheon with Heavenly Ham, veggies, Hawaiian sweet rolls, fruit cocktail, desserts and beverages. We are so blessed to have the awesome kitchen Team that we have!

Dean and I would like to thank EVERYONE who spent their Sunday afternoon with us. We would also like to extend a BIG “thank you” to Stephanie Lancione, from OPA (Off Platform Arts), one of GCC’s Creative Arts teams. We really enjoyed having Stephanie with us. Even the youngest child was having a blast dancing to the music!

We concluded the April Event by cleaning up outside to help reinforce the Earth Day message, and then sent leftovers home with the kids, and delivered a box of food from Feed the Children to each apartment.
